Job Summary: |

This position performs skilled mechanical repairs on a variety of light, medium, and heavy automotive equipment. An employee in this class performs skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of a variety of City automotive equipment. Assignments are received in the form of general oral and written work orders, but the employee is expected to determine the nature and extent of needed repairs. General supervision is received and work is reviewed through the proper functioning and performance of equipment repaired. |
